    What hope remains? No hope from the impoverished Judeaans remaining in Jerusalem, thinking that they could carry on with no change. Actually the only hope is for a new kind king of Babylon – the last place you would expect it!

    it seems we don’t really know why the (new) King of Babylon decided to release the King of Judah from prison – and then go on to have relationship/ dine with him. God’s Grace?
