    David stayed behind in Jerusalem
He saw a young woman bathing.
He used his power to have sex with her. She became pregnant.
He tried to cover his tracks by having the husband come to Jerusalem.
He tried to overcome the husband’s scruples re not going home.
He got the husband drunk – still did not work.
He arranged for the husband to be killed.
He colluded with the general who had arranged it.
    He made Bath-Sheba his wife.
A PROPHET CONFRONTS HIM WITH HIS CRIME
    David admits his guilt
He was open about the situation.
He prayed for the child’s life to be saved, thinking of the child
He knew he was on the same road of mortality
He went back to worshipping God in public. He comforted his wife.
He went to do his duty at the battle.

recognising our sin + asking God for forgiveness. Do we forgive God for punishing us? Did David forgive God for making the child die + then
move on to be back on the correct “moral” path?
