Day 1:  Acts 1.1-14:  In the first book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus did and taught from the beginning until the day when he was taken up to heaven  

Day 2:  Acts 2:  When the day of Pentecost had come  

Day 3:  Acts 4:  While Peter and John were speaking to the people   

Day 4:  Acts 9.1-31:  Meanwhile Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord 

Day 5:  Acts 10:  In Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion of the Italian Cohort

Day 6:  Acts 15:  Then certain individuals came down from Judea   

Day 7:  Acts 16.11-40:  We set sail from Troas and took a straight course to Samothrace

Paul’s Letter to New Christians

Day 1:  1 Corinthians 1:  Paul, called to be an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God

Day 2:  1 Corinthians 6:  When any of you has a grievance against another, do you dare to take it to court before the unrighteous    

Day 3:  1 Corinthians 7:  Now concerning the matters about which you wrote   

Day 4:  1 Corinthians 11.17-end:   Now in the following instructions I do not commend you, because when you come together it is not for the better but for the worse. 

Day 5:  1 Corinthians 12:  Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed  

Day 6:  1 Corinthians 13:  If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal  

Day 7:  1 Corinthians 15  Now I should remind you, brothers and sisters, of the good news

Paul’s Letter to Christians in Rome

Here are the readings for this week.  Take time to read them and then consult the forum below for further questions and discussion…

Day 1:  Romans 1:  Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God  

Day 2:  Romans 3:  Then what advantage has the Jew? Or what is the value of circumcision?

Day 3:  Romans 5.1-11:  Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God 

Day 4  Romans 6:  What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may abound?  

Day 5:  Romans 7.7-25:   What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means!

Day 6:  Romans 8.1-17:  There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 

Day 7:  Romans 12:  I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice
