Worship – what I recognise: people singing spontaneously; or music that touches both heart and mind (e.g. Haydn, or scripture-based songs). Set words and praying beyond them. dancing as communication.
What I don’t find helpful: “Worship” led by amplified guitar groups using modern words that are repetitive and monotonous but try to raise the emotional temperature. Using formulaic phrases, not scripture-based. Emotion without realism. Dancing for show.
